OKLAHOMA CITY — The City of Oklahoma City is planning a series of presentations for property owners planning to repair or rebuild structures damaged by tornadoes and severe storms.
The Rebuild Expo event is scheduled Aug. 3 at Westmoore High School.
Property owners can get information on how to fix their homes and businesses while improving energy efficiency and storm resistance. The event starts at 9 a.m. and presentations begin at noon.
Program coordinator T.O. Bowman with Oklahoma City’s Office of Sustainability says several organizations will be under one roof to answer questions homeowners have about rebuilding.
Information that will be offered includes energy efficient construction, consumer protection, water quality and health concerns.
