Senior Citizens Center
The Senior Citizens Center is offering a trip to Washington D.C Sept. 8-15. Highlights of the eight day trip include the major monuments and memorials of D.C. — Arlington Cemetery, the Changing of the Guard, the Smithsonian, Mount Vernon, as well as many other sights.

Southwest Oklahoma
Genealogical Society
Wahnne Clark will speak about his efforts to save the Comanche Mission Cemetery when Southwest Oklahoma Genealogical Society meets 7 p.m. today at the Lawton Public Library.
The cemetery was established in 1895 at Fort Sill. Today the 114 in-ground slabs with names scratched on them are covered with dirt and located on Henry Post Airfield.
Clark will speak about the history of this cemetery and what he has done and continues to do to have the slabs uncovered and left in place.
The Comanche Mission Cemetery is an outdoor museum and a historic landmark for local area Indians and Fort Sill.
REACH
REACH, Reassurance to each is a family and friend support group sponsored by NAMI Cleveland County (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
The meetings are open to anyone wanting to learn more about mental health issues. No fees or registration are required.
Guest speaker Larry Gross, executive director of Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center, will address services offered by the Mental Health Center 7 p.m., Tuesday at Edsel Ford House, 107 State Drive.
