NORMAN — The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History will offer Fly-Tying Frenzy, an adult fly-tying workshop, from 8 to 11 a.m. for beginners and from 1 to 4 p.m. for intermediate and advanced participants April 5.
Participants will learn how to make fly-fishing lures that are functional in their representation of native North American insects during the workshop hosted by entomologist Andy Boswell.
Additionally, fly-tying fans will discover the world of aquatic insects and their role in stream ecology and fish life cycles.
March 28 is the registration deadline. Cost is $30 for museum members and $40 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
