NORMAN — The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art is offering free admission to everyone today through Sunday to celebrate Dad’s Day weekend at the University of Oklahoma.
The museum at 555 Elm Ave. is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Visitors will have the chance to see the new Stuart Wing that opened Oct. 22. The 18,000-square-foot expansion houses the Eugene B. Adkins Gallery of Taos and American Indian artists, a new photography gallery.
The original part of the museum, which houses the Weitzenhoffer Collection of French Impressionism and many other exhibits, was renovated during the Stuart Wing construction.
