NORMAN — International best-selling author Daniel Jonah Goldhagen will present a complimentary public lecture titled “The Globalization of anti-Semitism” at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 in Kerr Auditorium of the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, 2401 Chautauqua Ave.
“Professor Goldhagen’s lecture is particularly important at this time because anti-Semitism, often disguised as anti-Zionism, has intensified over the last two decades across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and in the United States,” said Stephen Norwood, professor of history and Judaic studies at OU. “Anti-Semitism’s role as a central motivation for terrorism has frequently been ignored.”
