Man robs Norman hotel

NORMAN — Norman police responded to an armed robbery early Friday at the Comfort Inn and Suites, 840 Copperfield Drive. No injuries were reported.

Police said at about 1 a.m. a man entered the motel and brandished a firearm. He left with an undetermined amount of money and fled in an unknown direction.

The robber was described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches in height weighing between 150 to 170 pounds.

He was wearing a white hoodie with a beanie and dark pants.

The incident is being investigated by members of the Norman Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
