3 professors promoted

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma College of Engineering recently announced the promotion of three faculty members — Musharraf Zaman, Simin Pulat and John Antonio — to leadership positions.

After serving as associate dean for research and graduate programs, Zaman will return to teach in the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science and serve as director of the Southern Plains Transportation Center.

Pulat, associate dean for undergraduate education, will move into a new role as senior associate dean focused on faculty development.

Antonio, School of Computer Science professor, will join the dean’s office as associate dean of academic affairs and Williams Professor of Engineering.

The professors will move into their new positions in January.
