NORMAN — A Cleveland County District Court jury this week found an Oklahoma City man guilty of second degree burglary for a summer break-in at the former Perfect Swing building in southeast Norman.
Rudy Philip Villanueva, 24, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for the July 21 break-in. He was accused of breaking into the vacant property by prying open a locked door. He was also accused of breaking into a shed at Perfect Swing and possessing burglary tools.
The trial took place before District Judge Thad Balkman. Jurors deliberated about four hours before finding Villanueva guilty. Lead prosecutor was Zach Simmons from the Cleveland County District Attorney’s office.
Villanueva was represented by attorney Tyson Stanek.
