Chamber events set

NORMAN — Lunch & Learn

The Chamber will host a Lunch & Learn event on “Disaster Preparedness For Your Business” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Chamber offices, 115 E. Gray St. The educational event, sponsored by Thompson Pool & Patio, is free to Chamber members.

Panel members for the event are Brian McPherson, with Brian McPherson Insurance Agency LLC, and Dave VandenHeuval, with Weather Decision Technologies. They will focus on business insurance needs, disaster planning and WDT’s StormReady program for business.

Women’s luncheon

The Norman Women’s Leadership Committee has scheduled their second luncheon. The purpose of the committee is to gather local female leaders together to learn, grow and thrive as business persons in Norman.

The group will host their second lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Assistance League of Norman, 809 Wall St.

The speaker will be Jacqueline Cornaby, who is a spokesperson for empowerment. As an international speaker, life coach and founder of Jacqueline International Inc., the author’s career path came from her prior experience as lead coach and speaker in Tony Robbins’ famous life coaching organization.

Decorating Den Interiors is the presenting sponsor and Fowler Honda will sponsor lunch.
