Library offers computer classes

NORMAN — The Norman Public Library has set its schedule for free computer classes for April. Classes will take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

Norman Public Library computer instruction is intended for beginners. Each class consists of verbal and visual instruction and includes guided practice through various activities.

Patrons may confer with a librarian about their computer skills and what the Computer Training Center can provide to enhance those skills by calling 701-2697 and also can enroll in classes online at justsoyouknow.us/norman.

The April class schedule includes:

· Computer Use Classes

Beginning Mouse and Keyboarding Skills – 1-3 p.m. Tuesday

Computers, Inside and Out – 1-3 p.m. Wednesday

Windows, Part 1: The Operating System and Desktop – 1-3 p.m. Thursday

Windows, Part 2: Navigating the Internet – 1-3 p.m. Friday

Windows, Part 3: Manage Your Files – 1-3 p.m. April 11

Word Processing, Part 1: An Introduction to Managing Words using the Computer – 1-3 p.m. April 7

Word Processing, Part 2: Cut, Copy and Paste – 1-3 p.m. April 8
