Oklahoma Water Survey data web portal to be demonstrated next week

NORMAN — A new tool is available from the Oklahoma Water Survey, at the University of Oklahoma, for organizations in the state that collect and use water data.

Oklahoma Water Survey Director Robert Puls will demonstrate Phase I of a new water data web portal at 10 a.m. April 25 in The Core, inside the Stephenson Research and Technology Center on the OU Research Campus.

The Oklahoma Water Survey created the data web portal in response to the more than 20 different federal and state jurisdictions, agencies, tribes and organizations with some responsibility for water management in Oklahoma. Each of these entities collects and makes information available.

Potential users of the new water data web portal may attend and participate in the demonstration. A limited number of computers will be available for attendees who want to participate in the demonstration.

Those interested in attending the demonstration can email Puls at
