Women leaders announced

NORMAN — The Norman Chamber announced the nominees for the 2014 Women’s Leadership Award, which honors female leaders who actively inspire other women to achieve their full potential.

 Past recipients of this honor, formerly known as the ATHENA Award, have included Molly Shi Boren, Dr. Nancy O’Brien, Cindy Merrick and Coach Sherri Coale and Jaci Williams.

The nominees this year are Jane Bowen, Moore Norman Technology; Cami Sue Buettner, Roderick H. Polston, P.C./Black Fin IRS Solutions; Marsha Ferrier, Ferrier Consulting; Chris Aubrey Purcell, University of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Board of Regents; and Rhonda D. Trower, Custom Builders of Oklahoma LLC. 

The recipient will be announced at the Norman Chamber of Commerce annual banquet tonight.
