Calling all dogs

NORMAN — The Sooner Theatre is having open call dog auditions for their upcoming production of “Annie” at 11 a.m. Friday at the theater, 101 E. Main St.

The theater is seeking dogs that look like the beloved mutt Sandy in the classic comic and original movie to perform in productions scheduled for 7:30 p.m. June 25-28 and 2 p.m. June 26-29.

The dog must be able to follow commands, love being around children and not be afraid of music and applause. The dog and trainer must be available for rehearsals scheduled for June 16-20, as well as all performances.
