OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City police say a suspect has been arrested in a hit-and-run accident that killed the creator of a pain relief ointment.

Police say the suspect was arrested Wednesday night following a traffic stop on complaints that include of leaving the scene of a fatality accident and causing a fatality accident without a valid driver’s license.

Online court records do not show that formal charges have been filed. The suspect is being held in the Oklahoma County jail.

Police say 79-year-old Jack McClung was killed when he was struck by a vehicle Sunday while crossing a city street in northwest Oklahoma City.

McClung is known as the inventor of Blue Stuff, a joint pain relief ointment made from emu oil.
