Norman transplants have ties to their home



“I’d had enough of journalism by then,” he said.

Newcomb applied to the University of Oklahoma and earned a masters degree in public relations. After living in Atlanta for a year and for a while back in Jackson, he realized he really liked Oklahoma and moved to Oklahoma City in 2012. Eventually he began studying to be a realtor.

“I just answered a random ad,” Newcomb said.

And that’s how he found his way to Weichert Realty in Norman.
