Local student to attend arts camp

NORMAN — Kate Kemmet, 15, of Norman, has been accepted and will attend Interlochen Arts Camp. Kemmet, the daughter of Rob and Lori Kemmet, will study musical theater at the Camp.

Kemmet is a freshman at Norman North High School, where she is a member of the Chorale, a regional qualifier in competitive acting and captain of the junior varsity pom squad.

She is an honor student and has studied voice with Tony Gonzalez. Kemmet played the lead role of Millie Dillmount in North’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.”
