Friends of Library gear up for book sale

NORMAN — The Friends of the Norman Public Library Better Books Sale opens Friday in the Lowry Room at the library, 225 N. Webster Ave. The sale, open to the public, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission charge.

All books in the general sales area range from $2 to $5. Selected collectors books or special editions are individually priced, but are always bargains. On Sunday, many books are reduced up to 50 percent.

Area residents donate all the books in the sale. Books included in this sale have been specially selected and are in good to fine condition.
