Small earthquakes recorded in Oklahoma

CHOCTAW — The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded several small earthquakes during the weekend in Oklahoma.

No injury or damage was reported.

The USGS recorded a 3.7 magnitude quake at 2:54 p.m. Sunday near Choctaw. The same area is the site of a larger, 3.9-magnitude quake that was recorded at 5:18 a.m. Saturday, in addition to 2.3 and 2.7 magnitude quakes recorded in the area during the past two days.

A 3.0 magnitude quake was recorded at 12:50 a.m. Sunday near Boley and a 2.8 magnitude temblor was recorded Saturday near Pawnee.
