Two suffer serious injuries in traffic collision

NORMAN — Two people were transported to OU Medical Center in serious condition after a collision rolled one vehicle over near Flood Avenue and Nebraska Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The two transported were traveling eastbound in an SUV when police said the vehicle failed to stop or yield at the stop sign on Nebraska Street and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Flood Avenue.

Norman Police Lt. Brent Barbour said one individual in the northbound vehicle was transported to Norman Regional Hospital for treatment.
