NORMAN — Tickets for tonight’s Taste of Norman and Crosstown Clash high school football game are available until 4:15 today at the Norman Public Schools district administration building athletics office, 131 S. Flood Ave.
Taste tickets also can be purchased from individual band members, at the main offices at Norman High and Norman North, as well as at Republic Bank’s locations at Main/University, Robinson/36th Ave. and Lindsey/SE 12th Ave.
The annual gridiron Crosstown Clash includes Norman High and Norman North’s teams squaring off at the University of Oklahoma’s Memorial Stadium and Taste of Norman being hosted in the adjacent Mosier Practice Facility.
Taste of Norman occurs prior to the football game and involves area restaurants giving hearty samples of their most popular foods to participants, while student musicians from NHS and NNHS provide entertainment.
The event is a fundraiser for both schools’ band programs, and tickets are $15. Children 5 and under eat free.
Taste of Norman will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The Crosstown Clash kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to both events are sold separately.
The cost of an adult Crosstown Clash ticket is $7, and the cost of a student ticket is $5.
Both adults and students are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines at Memorial Stadium.
Tickets sales at NHS and NNHS are during school hours and at Republic Bank during business hours.
