Women in policing expo set

NORMAN — The Norman Police Department will host a Women in Policing Expo in February for those interested in the law enforcement field.

The expo will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at Norman North High School. Residents must RSVP by Jan. 1.

The expo will include the following: history of women and policing; myths about policing; family considerations; defensive tactics; shooting considerations; question and answer session; and featured guest speaker Lt. LeTesha Watson with the Arlington Police Department
