Megan Kathleen Heatly and Edward James Eskridge, both of Norman, were married in an evening ceremony Aug. 23 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Randall Wade.

Parents of the bride are Sharon and Richard Heatly of Norman. The groom is the son of Frank Eskridge of Norman and Emily and Carcy Clinton, all of Norman.

Rachael Dewberry of Tulsa served as matron of honor. Maid of honor was Anne Heatly of Oklahoma City. Bridesmaids were Murphy Eskridge, Courtney Koehn and Jessi Carter, all of Norman, Erin Herrmann of Charlotte, N.C., Blaire Bower of Shawnee, Shannon Pawley of Norman, and Devyn Smith of New Orleans.

William Eskridge of Norman was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Lindley and Jeff Lindley, both of Edmond, Zack Skinner of Tulsa, Parker Holman of New York City, Tanner Dyer of Pampa, Texas, Bryan Bugg of Norman, Kyle Cervi of Norman, Preston Craig of Norman and John Symcox of Tulsa.

A reception followed at the Molly Shi Boren Ballroom in the University of Oklahoma Memorial Union.

The bride graduated from Norman High School in 2002. She received a bachelor of science degree in 2006 in health studies with a minor in Spanish from OU. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from OU Health Sciences Center in 2008, and is employed with Oklahoma Physical Therapy.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Norman North High School, and received a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration. He is employed with Eskridge Lexus of Oklahoma City.

After a honeymoon to Tahiti, Bora Bora and French Polynesia, the couple established a home in Oklahoma City.
