Christie Ponder and Zach DuFran, both of Norman, were married June 11 at the University of Oklahoma Wesley Foundation.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of OU’s education program, is the daughter of Ron and Cheryl Ponder of Norman.

The groom is the son of John and Mary DuFran of Norman. He graduated from OU in 2005 with a degree in metrology. He is a graduate student at OU working on a master’s degree in metrology.

The Rev. Brad Humphrey officiated the wedding ceremony, for which the bride chose a strapless white satin gown with a bodice adorned by pale blue beads and a bouquet of white roses and crystal beads.

Matron of honor was Amy Coldwell of Moore. Bridesmaids were Summer McGuire and Sabrina DuFran, both of Norman.

Best man was Scott Coldwell of Moore. Groomsmen were Kurt McGuire and Jason Ponder, both of Norman.

Ushers included Jarrett Spotts-Rames of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Mark Hamilton of Oklahoma City.

Annalee Livingston of Ft. Smith, Ark., coordinated the wedding, which included a reception at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.

The couple enjoyed a one-week honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, after which they made their home in Norman.
