Veterans Corner Inc., 3805 SE 44th St., Newcastle, OK 73065, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing ongoing support and services to our brave men and women in uniform, past or present.
Operated and managed by an all-volunteer team of Veterans and Veterans Advocates, the organization has a unique understanding of veterans' needs. Truly "Veterans Helping Veterans" to get the support they need, the benefits they have earned and the respect they deserve.
Last Thursday, Veterans Corner chair Alfred Hollis and VCI volunteer Harold Harvell honored World War II Navy Seabee Stanley C. Wood with a certificate and hat for his service. Wood was stationed in Okinawa and was in the Pacific, under fire, near Pearl Harbor.
Veterans Corner volunteer J. D. Kinard presented a donation to Veterans Corner from the "Boys and Girls Booster Club" of Washington, Oklahoma. A huge thanks goes to these supporters for their donation.
Veterans Corner is closed for all federal holidays and will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King's birthday. He declared his hatred for the colossal of all evils and condemned any organizer of war, regardless of rank or nationality.

Veterans Corner is about two miles west of Interstate 35, Exit 106, on the north side of State Highway 9 West and is open from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday.
