The City of Norman Municipal Complex, 201 W. Gray St. includes the City Council Chambers and study session rooms where city leaders make decisions about the directions of Norman.

There are only two items on the Norman City Council's special session agenda Tuesday night, but they're both significant.

The first would adjourn the council into an executive session to discuss appointing an "interim and permanent city manager." The city and current city manager Steve Lewis agreed to part ways by the end of October during last week's council meeting.

The council will also discuss directing the city manager to investigate "possible misconduct or incompetence" by City Attorney Jeff Bryant.

Once they exit executive session, the council will vote on whether to investigate Bryant. The agenda does not go into specifics as to what the city manager will be investigating.
