Voters overwhelming passed several sales tax votes today, according to unofficial results. The Cleveland County Election Board will certify the vote at 5 p.m. Friday.

County voters approved a one-eighth cent sales tax for public safety issues by a vote of 10,432 (72%) to 4,061 (28%)

Norman voters passed a one-eighth cent sales tax for public transportation by a vote of 6,666 (70%) to 2,807 (30%).

Moore voters approved a one-eighth cent sales tax to fund water system, storm water and drainage improvements by a vote of 1,697 (71%) to 698 (29%).

Noble voters approved a one-eighth cent sales tax for public safety improvements, including fire, police and EMS services by a vote of 216 (70%) to 94 (30%).
