After a Norman woman was robbed in May during which a machete-sized knife was held to her throat, two were formally charged Monday in Cleveland County District Court.
David Allen Brown, 46, and Cynthia Ann Jacubec, 45, were charged conjointly with a juvenile male for robbery with a weapon. The two also were charged for contributing to the delinquency of minors.
The robbery victim called Norman police May 8 after the three forced their way into her home through her locked front door, according to the affidavit filed with charges.
Once inside, Brown held the knife to her throat and told her he and his two accomplices were going to take her property and hold it until her son paid his drug debt, the affidavit said.
Jacubec and the juvenile male then took an XBox 360, jewelry, money orders and other valuables totaling $1,100 from the home, records show.
The victim said she had met Brown and Jacubec before and could identify them, but she was unable to identify the juvenile. Police later positively identified the juvenile as Brown and Jacubec's neighbor, the affidavit said.
Brown and Jacubec refused to take part in an interview and were warned to return the property if they still possessed it, the affidavit stats. The victim stated that her property has never been returned to her.
