Through July, the "Singers and Songwriters at Grape Ranch" concert series will feature performances from locally and nationally recognized musicians. The free, family-friendly events will be 4 to 8 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through October, except during the Red Dirt Harvest Festival Sept. 1- 3.
Organized by Oklahoma musician Tom Skinner, July's "Singers -- Songwriters at Grape Ranch" will feature Skinner performing with Susan Herndon and Owen Lynn, Mary Reynolds and Louise Goldberg, the Barton and Sweeney Trio, Michigan-based Don White and Friends, and local banjo phenomenon John Fullbright.
Grape Ranch plans to host additional events in 2006, including its Red Dirt Harvest Festival, planned for Sept. 2 and 3, as well as concerts in conjunction with the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.
A winery in eastern Oklahoma, Grape Ranch is known for labels such as "Beat Texas" and "The Woody Guthrie Commemorative Series" plus irreverent holiday offerings such as "Hallowine" and "Festivus."
Grape Ranch is located in Okemah. For more information, visit graperanch.com or call 918-623-2250.
