Norman area homes will be decorated for the holidays, and will have their doors open to the public for the Assistance League of Norman’s Holiday home tour and Unique Boutique.
The home tour will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6. Ticket prices are $25.
Homes on this year’s tour include:
· Dr. Jim and Angie Bailey, 475 N.W. 24th Ave., Goldsby
· Greg and Sara Gae Waters, 630 Tulsa St. — Southridge
· Clark Collier and Jason Jobe, 3309 Chardonnay — Chardonnay at the Vineyards
· Mark and Megan Moore, 4300 Covington Way — Ashton Grove
· Jeff and Susan Raley, 3216 Millbrook Dr. — Brookhaven Square
The Unique Boutique at the Assistance League of Norman Chapter House, 809 Wall St., will also be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6. A home tour ticket gives you entry to the chapter house or an entry fee of $5 at the door. A collection of vendors and artisans will gather to sell their wares at the chapter house.
Tickets may be purchased in Norman at Mel’s Kloset; Mister Robert; Mitchell’s Jewelry; Cayman’s; Christmas Expressions; Walden’s Cleaners; Occasions; Antique Garden; Norman Interventional Pain Management; Oklahoma Hearing Center and from Assistance League members.
Assistance League of Norman also is preparing for its annual Holiday Gala which will be 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at Embassy Suites. The theme of the evening is “Every Time a Bell Rings, Assistance League Dresses a Child.” Tickets are for the gala are $90 and can be purchased by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling Susan Raley at 642-1402.
Members of Assistance League serve the Norman community by giving their time and financial support to six philanthropic programs, ASK (Assault Survivor Kits); Bears for Children; Care Kits; May Fair Arts Festival; Seniors R&R; and Operation School Bell. During the past year, chapter members and Assisteens provided more than 15,000 hours of volunteer service.
