Seven Norman area graduates and seven Moore graduates are among 440 freshmen accepted into Oklahoma State University’s Honors College.
Norman High School graduates include Sarah Brooks, daughter of Harold and Katherine Brooks of Norman; Dyannah Canon, daughter of Frank and Denise Canon of Norman; James Hill, son of Jackie and Cheryl Hill of Norman and Madeline Lowe, daughter of Thomas and Angela Lowe of Norman.
Norman North High School graduates include Lyman Lenker, son of Lyman and Lorene Lenker of Norman; Tyler Moore, son of Trent and Pam Moore of Norman; Hailey Neubauer, daughter of Leland Neubauer of Norman and Carla Walker of Stillwater.
Moore High School graduates in the program include Edward Tibbs, son of Edward and Sherita Tibbs of Norman.
Westmoore High School graduates include Levi Barris, son of Marty and Christie Barris of Oklahoma City; Jonathan Ryan, son of Michael and Mona Ryan of Oklahoma City; Molly Ryan, daughter of Michael and Mona Ryan of Oklahoma City; Michelle Scroggie, daughter of Guadalupe Scroggie and Stephen J. Scroggie of Oklahoma City.
Southmoore High School graduates in the program are LeAnna Glenn, daughter of Elna Vasquez of Moore and Teresa Xuan Nhi Tran, daughter of Mary T. Tran of Oklahoma City and Viet Tran of Overland Park, Kan.
The OSU Honors College program was started in the 1960s for students in the College of Arts and Sciences, and was expanded in 1989 to include all undergraduate colleges at OSU.
