Norman Realtor April Miller has been selected to participate in the 2009 LeadershipOAR Class. She is among 14 Realtors in the state to be selected for the program.

LeadershipOAR, a program of the Oklahoma Association of Realtors, is designed to identify emerging Realtor leaders who possess the potential to participate in association leadership; to empower those individuals to maximize their individual leadership potential; to encourage them to participate in association leadership roles; and to incorporate them into association leadership positions.

The Norman JR Fulton and Associates Inc. office has added two more real estate professionals to its staff.

Sandra Bentley is an Oklahoma native and has called Norman home since 1985. She began her real estate career working with multifamily investment properties in 1993. She works with all commercial and investment property types in both sales and leasing.

Norman native Jason Cooke grew up in a real estate family and obtained his license 1997. For the last several years he was the commercial land lease manager for an outdoor advertising company. He is a member of the International Right-of-Way Association and provides commercial leasing and brokerage services along with right-of-way acquisitions.

Two employees from the Postal Service's National Center for Employee Development recently received Stars of the Industry honors when five Center employees were recognized Jan. 14 by the Oklahoma Hotel and Lodging Association.

Katie Reel, Marriott sales manager, won the association award for Manager of the Year. Kendra Dunn was named Front Office Associate of the Year.

Three other employees were honored with award nominations. They were Malissa Harbison for Housekeeper of the Year, Morgan Hughes for Lodging Employee of the Year, and Wanda Roland for Food and Beverage Associate of the Year.
