McClain County liquor vote slated Nov. 7

PURCELL -- Friday, Oct. 13, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 7 General Election and McClain County Special Election.

Several state offices are up for grabs, and the voters of McClain County have an opportunity to voice their opinion on a liquor-by-the-drink proposition.

If the retail sale of liquor by the drink for on-premises drinking is approved, it will be allowed every day of the year according to state laws.

Registration application forms are available at the County Election Board office at the McClain County Courthouse, Room 101, 121 N. 2nd Ave. in Purcell, as well as at most post offices, public libraries, tag agencies and the Department of Human Services.
