Rape charge filed against OKC man

An Oklahoma City man was charged with rape following an alleged assault on a Moore teenager last month, court records show.

Steven James Garcia, 28, Oklahoma City, faces a first-degree rape by instrumentation charge. He is alleged to have assaulted a 13-year-old Moore girl in an apartment Feb. 13.

Other felony charges filed this week include:

Hugo Gonzalez, 24, Oklahoma City, omitting to provide for a child.

Tyson Jerome Hope, 20, Norman, larceny from a house.

Lloyd Keith Morris, 24, Norman, possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a park; possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

James Mark McCullough, 35, Norman, first degree burglary;

Dale Eugene Austin, 19, Norman, possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Clayton Mathew Pelfrey, 22, Norman, second degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property.



Memorial fund set up

A memorial fund for Harold Gene Rollins has been established. Rollins, 55, of Washington died Tuesday at his home.

Rollins was a plumber all of his life and was employed by H--H Plumbing -- Utilities Inc. when he died.
