The intersection of Flood Avenue and Brooks Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Friday for water line replacement. Warning and detour signs will be posted to assist the motoring public and pedestrian traffic.

Southwest Water Works LLC, under contract with the Norman Utilities Authority, is currently replacing old water lines in the area generally bounded by Flood to the west, Brooks to the north, Chautauqua Avenue to the east, and Lindsey Street to the south. The $850,000 project is expected to be completed in December.

For more information on the project, contact Chris Mattingly, City of Norman capital projects engineer, at or 366-5443.
