The Aging Services of Cleveland County nutrition site that is located at the Brand Senior Center, 501 E. Main St., has announced meals for the upcoming week.

For more information on programs or to make a meal reservation, call the center, 793-9069. A $2 donation is requested for seniors 60 and above. Meals for guests under 60 cost $3.50. Menu is subject to change.

The program also has a delivery service for homebound individuals. Anyone needing this service should call the Moore office or Norman office, 321-3200.

For seniors needing transportation inside Moore city limits, the Moore Council on Aging Bus Service transports seniors to meals, shopping, and doctor's appointments from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 799-3130 for a ride.


Wednesday, July 20: BBQ chicken, hominy, spinach, wheat bread, and a peanut butter cookie

Thursday, July 21: turkey/bologna sandwiches, potato salad, green bean salad, roll, and pears

Friday, July 22: beef macaroni and tomatoes, blackeyed peas, carrots, wheat bread, and mixed fruit

Tuesday, July 26: hamburger, baked beans, pea/macaroni salad, bun, and peaches

Wednesday, July 27: tuna salad, lentil soup, corn relish, wheat bread, and orange gelatin


Wednesday, July 20: exercise at 10:30 a.m., line dancing at 12:15 p.m.

Thursday, July 21: Golden Okies Country and Western Band at 10:30 a.m.

Friday, July 22: exercise at 10:30 a.m.

Monday, July 25: exercise at 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday, July 26: "Understanding High Blood Pressure" video and blood pressure checks at 10 a.m.

Wednesday, July 27: exercise at 10:30 a.m., line dancing lessons at 12:15 p.m.

Other activities including dominoes, cards, jig-saw puzzles, table tennis, pool, ceramics, and quilting go on daily.
