Oklahoma dismissed offensive lineman Tramonda Moore on Tuesday for violating team rules, the program announced.
Moore, a 6-foot-6, 330-pound junior offensive tackle, was a highly sought after product out of John Marshall (Oklahoma City) High School, but didn’t qualify academically after signing with Oklahoma State.
He transferred to OU this past summer by way of Independence (Kansas) Community College after rising to the No. 2 overall junior college recruit nationally, according to Rivals. He never appeared in a game as a Sooner.
Moore is the third player OU coach Lincoln Riley has dismissed from the program since taking over as head coach in June 2017. Former safety Will Sunderland and quarterback Chris Robison were dismissed last season.
