3 players to watch

• 7 Jett Duffey (6-1, 195; Jr. QB): Texas Tech’s backup quarterback, who will likely play for Alan Bowman this week, is no slouch. Last season he was the first Tech quarterback to lead the team in rushing since Joe Barnes in 1973.

• 5 Armand Shyne (5-11, 210; Sr. RB): He’s averaging just over 10 yards per carry as the Red Raiders’ primary back, gaining 7.2 yards per attempt. 


• 3 Douglas Coleman III (6-1, 200; Sr. DB): He has two interceptions in three games. Kyler Murray threw two picks to Vaughnte Dorsey in the first two possessions of last season’s games. OU’s Jalen Hurts has yet to be intercepted.
