10:53 a.m. — Oklahoma and Kansas will kick off at 11:30 a.m. after a short weather delay.

The school conducted a flyover and national anthem at 10:54 a.m. and the teams agreed to a shorter warm-up time.

ORIGINAL: LAWRENCE, Kan. — Oklahoma's game at Kansas has been delayed due to lightning.

No potential start time was released for what was initially scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.

The No. 6 Sooners (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) didn't catch a break from weather last time in Lawrence either, battling through howling winds and frigid temperatures for a 41-3 victory.

By 10:30 a.m., players and a few coaches were hanging outside the visiting locker room to enjoy a little air as a few bands of storms moved through the area. The teams agreed to an abbreviated 35-minute warm-up once given the all clear, according to OU radio voice Toby Rowland.
