Yes, we are in a recession. With housing problems, unemployment and our national debt out of control, who can afford health care?
Let’s see. We can afford our booze, smokes, tattoos and casinos. Tasty lattes, junk food and trips to the mall. New car smell, love it. Fifty-yard line tickets, oh yeah. We need our Blackberries, iPods, electronic games and such. You can always buy new ones next year when they become outdated.
Maybe we need to get our priorities straight. I’m not for socialized medicine or Obama’s health care as it now stands, but with our national obesity problems, something’s gotta give.
