A two run home run put the Norman High softball team ahead in the first and a grand slam put the game against Bridgecreek away in the bottom of the fourth 18-8.
Both homeruns came from Carson Osbourne. It’s the second straight game for the Tigers that ended with a grand slam.
“We’re playing good right now,” Norman’s coach Tim Gonzales said. “I look forward to seeing us play and develop the rest of the year.”
Not only has the offense performed well, but the pitching has also made the difference for the team, Gonzales said.
“Our pitcher has really stepped up and made all the difference,” he said.
The Tigers move to 5-5 on the season and next play in the Norman North Tournament today.
