Isaac Stoops is getting a head start on his coaching career.
The former Norman North star announced he will join Moore's coaching staff as a receivers coach this season.
"Humbled to announce I will be taking the varsity receivers coaching position at Moore High School!" Stoops wrote in a tweet. "Excited to start my coaching career, Go Lions."
Stoops, the son of former OU coach Bob Stoops, attends the University of Oklahoma. He's currently a student, but originally walked on to OU's football team before leaving the program last year.
Stoops will assist Moore coach Brad Hill's veteran squad, which is coming off back-to-back postseason appearances.
The Lions open their 2019 season at Westmoore on Sept. 6. Stoops will get to coach against his alma mater Norman North on Friday, Oct. 4.
