Oklahoma jumped to No. 3 in the Associated Press’ latest top-25 rankings, which was released Sunday.

OU rises from No. 5 after beating Missouri State 48-0 in its season opener and only trails No. 1 Clemson (1-0) and No. 2 Alabama (0-0).

OU’s Big 12 foes, Texas and Oklahoma State, checked in at No. 9 and No. 11, respectively.

No. 23 Iowa State dropped out of the poll after losing to Louisana-Lafayette on Saturday.
